2017 - present LOS ANGELES 2012 - 2017 TOKYO 2011 COPENHAGEN 2008 - 2012 BOSTON born - 2008 LOS ANGELES
Born and raised in Los Angeles I spent summers visiting relatives in Japan, and the differences between Japanese and American lifestyles and conveniences stimulated my interest in the behavioral aspects of physical space. I studied Danish design in Copenhagen in 2011, focusing on "human scale" in interior design, product design, urban planning, and community development. My degree in Cross-Cultural Literary & Visual Studies at Tufts University allowed me to explore several cultures through the frame of design and to complete a thesis on "timelessness" in Japanese and Danish design.
My long-term goal is to contribute to a responsible society in which everyday living is enjoyable and human-scale, and to create sustainable structures of design and service in our increasingly global and technological world.
